Sensory Play Recipes

Gloop Recipe

2 Cups of Corn Starch

1 Cup of water (slowly add to preferred consistency)

Couple of drops of food dye

Gloop is a fun scientific process activity that children can experiment and make themselves - it is great to encourage children to mix the mixture given them the experience of pouring and exploring the different consistency as they go ... *note you have to have to have extra corn starch handy if they enjoy pouring in the water!

Non Borax Recipe

Activity:

Add either ice cubes or water beads to the gloop to extend play.

In a saucepan mix

3 sachets of Flbogel

300ml water

Mix the powder and water together in a saucepan on a medium heat for about 10 mins, it should then start to look like gel and stick to the spoon. Remove from the heat and pour into a bowl to cool...it will thicken more as it cools. You can always help this along by putting in the fridge .

Activity:

Add googly eyes to the slime to extend play ideas
